Dee Snider was the lead singer of Twisted Sister who released the 80’s metal anthem “We’re Not Going To Take It”.

In all fairness, Twisted Sister’s career amounted to more than a “1 hit wonder”, but they fit better in this category than “Show Biz”.

What happened to:

In 1998 he wrote, produced and starred in a horror movie called Strangeland

Dee now hosts a weekly syndicated radio show and does voice over work. Past clients include Sony and the New York Lottery, he recently made the news in this capacity as he has now become “The Official Voice of MSNBC”.

Update May 13/05: “Night time (7-12pm) radio DJ on 93.3 WMMR in Philadelphia”

Update May 9, 2023: Dee Snider dropped from San Francisco’s Gay Pride parade for liking a tweet (by Kiss frontman, Paul Stanley) that adults shouldn’t encourage children to identify as trans.
