Brandon Cruz portrayed Eddie Corbett in The Courtship of Eddie’s Father when he was just 5 until almost 8. He did a few movies and guest spots after that, but trying hard to shed the ‘Eddie’ image he got into punk and began singing for bands and has fronted Dr. Know for many years
Currently he is touring Europe with The Dead Kennedys as their singer, braving and laughing off the attempts by previous singer, Jello Biafra, to sabotage and ridicule his role as frontman. He’s proved he’s more than ‘Little Eddie’ and also that he can pull off this most trying stint with the Dk’s. He has a new CD coming out, Father, Son and Holy Shit sometime in August.
In August, 2003 the Dead Kennedys and Cruz announced that Cruz would be leaving the band by “mutual decision”.
