Andrea Barber’s first major role was playing the role of Carrie Brady on the Days of Our Lives from 1982 to 1986. She is also well known for playing the role of Kimmy Gibbler on ABC’s hit sitcom, Full House from 1987 to 1995.
Barber retired from acting following the end of Full House in order to focus on her personal life. She will be starring in the Full House spin-off, Fuller House on Netflix in February 2016. She attended Whitter College and earned a degree in English, as well as the University of York in England, where she earned a MA in women’s studies. She has two children.
