Best Case Scenario: We make it to another 4 years without WWIII starting. Rumsfield is forgotten somewhere along the way and attempts to hit the lecture circuit and writes articles for Foreign Affairs
Worst Case Scenario: All hell breaks loose and he goes the way of a Nixon crony: to prison, being a patsy in the fallout of a Baby Bush impeachment fracas.
