Good Charlotte is an American rock band from Waldorf, Maryland, that formed in 1996. They played multiple genres including pop punk, alternative rock, punk rock, emo, and pop rock.
After Good Charlotte disbanded in Benji Madden along with his brother Joel Madden, went on to be judges on the Voice Australia. While still playing in Good Charlotte, Benji and Joel wrote and produced for other artists. Madden was a co-writer and co-producer of some of the songs on Hilary Duff’s Most Wanted(2005) compilation album. Benji later helped write the songs “Amnesia” for pop rockers 5 Seconds of Summer and “No Ordinary Girl” for pop artist Kalin and Myles.
On March 1, 2008, Billy Martin married hairstylist Linzi Williamson, whom he had been dating for eight years. On January 26, 2009 she gave birth to their first child Dreavyn Kingslee Martin in California. In September 2012, the couple welcomed their second son, Zander Jace Martin.
Paul Thomas’ daughter, Willow Monroe Thomas,was born in 2010.He also appeared with his band mates in the 2001 film Not Another Teen Movie and the television special iCarly iGo to Japan.
