Osment first became involved in acting after appearing in a Pizza Hut commercial. His first feature film was Forrest Gump in 1994. His big break came when he starred as Cole Sear in The Sixth Sense in 1999. His role earned him a nomination for an Academy Award.
Since The Sixth Sense, Osment has starred in various successful movies such as Pay It Forward, AI: Artificial Intelligence, and Second Hand Lions. He was the voice of Mowgli in Jungle Book 2. In 2015 he had a role in the Entourage movie. He graduated from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts in 2011.
