Atomic Kitten were stars back when girl bands were all the rage. Thanks to double-platinum number-one albums in the UK the girls were able to tour all over the world to sold out shows. Karry Katona left the group when she became pregnant which began the problems with Atomic Kitten. In April 2004, following the departure of Hamilton, the group announced their split, although they returned a year later to release a new version of their single “Cradle”.
On October 18 2012, it was announced that the original members of Atomic Kitten would reunite for the ITV2 series ,’The Big Reunion’. Frost was unable to take part in the comeback due to her pregnancy, but Hamilton has since confirmed that Frost would be welcomed back if she wanted to rejoin the group in the future. As of April 2013, Atomic Kitten has sold over 10 million records worldwide.
