Brogren starred as Archie “Snake” Simpson in Degrassi Junior High from 1987-1989. In 1989, he received a Gemini Award for the role.
In 1999, Brogren appeared in a music video for a London pop-metal band. Most notably, he starred Principal Simpson in Degrassi: The Next Generation for 10 seasons. He is the only actor or actress to appear in every season of the Degrassi franchise. He is now a director for the show The L.A. Complex
