a.k.a Christy Love. Beautiful,multitalented, black diva gained national exposure as a bikini-clad swinger on Rowan & Martin’s Laugh-Inin the early 1970s. She later gained international fame as the crime-stopping,karate-kicking,lady cop in TVs Get Christy Love from 1974-1975.
Teresa became intensely religious and began refusing roles which she found offensive. She left acting altogether in the 1980s to concentrate on religious activities. In 2002,Teresa Graves died tragically in a Los Angeles house fire. Her past career unbeknown to friends and neighbors.
