This husband and wife team released “The Future’s So Bright, I Gotta Wear Shades” on IRS which hit number 19 in the US and 21 in the UK in 1986.
Pat MacDonald and his wife Barbara K have since divorced and Pat has taken up residence in Europe, where he has recorded several Albums for Ulftone Records. Begging her graces is a haunting album heavy on the Accoustic Guitars and Middle Eastern vibe, and his most recent CD is PM does DM, a collection of Depeche Mode covers that is simply excellent.
Barbara K. has her own solo project out now. Used to be available at BarbaraKmusic.com, but her domain has not been renewed.
