Keyboardist, Depeche Mode. Andrew , or fletch always looked like he was either on the verge of having a nervous breakdown, or having too much fun during Depeche Modes’s career.
Having suffered while “playing the rockstar game” while on tour with “the boys” on a few occasions (e.g. tripping up on stage many a time, having useless arguements with Dave Gahan, not actually playing anything on any recording since 1982), he conveniently had a nervous breakdown which lasted from 1990 to 1994 (ironically their most successful period), and recovered, only to look more and more like a slightly trendy accountant with every passing day…
Either out of bravado or boredom (Martin Gore still hasn’t got around to writing any new songs I suppose), he runs his own label under Mute’s wing called Toast Hawai with one act to their name so far…Client
