From the InfoPlease sports Who’s Who (see references) he “won Heisman Trophy in 1985 and MVP of baseball All-Star Game in 1989; starter for both baseball’s Kansas City Royals and NFL’s LA Raiders in 1988 and ’89; severely injured left hip Jan. 13, 1991, in NFL playoffs; waived by Royals but signed by Chicago White Sox in 1991; missed entire 1992 season recovering from hip surgery; played for White Sox in 1993 and California in ’94 before retiring”

What happened to:

He went back to school (Auburn) and graduated in December 1995 with a bachelor of science degree in family and child development. Espn reports, “He opened a motorcycle shop outside Chicago and went into partnership with Charles Barkley on an Alabama restaurant. He serves as president of the Sports Medicine Council, a non-profit, youth outreach organization of HealthSouth Corporation.”
Bo now owns and runs a company called N’Genuity in Chicago that does food processing and distribution.
