He is an American actor who has starred in a number of television programs.
From 1991 to 2009, he served as a special education teacher at the F.L. Chamberlain School in Middleborough, Massachusetts where he taught an acting class. In 2009, he released an autobiographical memoir To Space and Back. He had three wives: Marcia Rogers(1961-69), Susan Anspach(1970-78), and Evelyn Pezzulich( 1990). Goddard has three children.
